The Governing Council has given approval at its meeting today to work on improving the road surface C-3223, for which earmarked 1.8 million euros.

The affected section includes the launching at the junction with the N-340 in Cobatillas and the beginning of the variant of Fortuna, at the roundabout intersection with the A-5.

This section presents a poor state for requiring this road, which is an essential communication channel for access to the towns of Abanilla and Fortuna.

The works are essentially to improve the wearing of the resistant section in the stretch of road described, 12.5 miles.
