The regional government has approved a decree regulating the direct concession of subsidies to the municipalities of Abanilla, Eagles, Archena, Caravaca, Cieza, Lorquí, Molina de Segura, Mula and Villanueva del Río Segura, for new construction, expansion and improvement of infrastructure of public schools and Primary Education and thus to address the educational needs arising from these municipalities.
The total amount of the 28 actions that take place in these municipalities amounted to the amount of 3,739,573 euros, of which 2,940,354 will be contributed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research, and the rest by different municipalities.
These actions are part of the Social Pact for Education in the Region of Murcia, signed in July 2005 and now comes to an end, which has among its objectives to carry out a global plan to improve education centers Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary adequate facilities, equipment and resources to the needs of modernization and the reality of schooling.
