The Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez, visited the works that are running on the RM-A30 road, connecting the town of Abanilla and today, more specifically, the hamlet of El Canton with the RM-410 road, heading the Alicante town of Aspe, and RM-422, in connection with Pinoso.
The CEO stressed that "the significance of this action lies in improving communication in the eastern part of the region with the neighboring province of Alicante, especially with the municipality of La Algueña, with which maintains much Abanilla relationship."
He also noted the "significant increase in traffic" that will lead this work, which develop in the 2.3 kilometer stretch from Canton to the junction with the road to La Algueña and have a budget of 282,063 euros.
The works are aimed at widening to 7 meters platform, to provide the two-lane, one direction, 3 meters and two shoulders of 0.50 meters.
In addition to reconstruction in the entire stretch of the road surface with hot asphalt on artificial gravel, works include improving drainage, signage and markings.
