The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, today chaired the presentation of the poster and the book of the Feasts of the Holy Cross-Moros y Cristianos Abanilla.
During the ceremony, held at the Royal Casino de Murcia, Ruiz said "the regional government support for these parties, which are already of Regional Tourist Interest, reaching the Declaration of National Interest".
In this sense, the regional head of Tourism said that "since the Ministry will make available to the City Council and festive all instruments and tools that we have to spread the holiday through our tourist portal, and promotion in various events and fairs in which we participate, so they have a national impact they need to get this statement they deserve ".
"The poster we are presenting reflects the synthesis and perfect harmony with coexisting in Abanilla parties devotion to the Holy Cross with the festive character of the Moors and Christians," said Juan Carlos Ruiz during a ceremony which also Abanilla participated Mayor Fernando Molina, President of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross, Luis Mariano Mellado, President of the Federation of Associations of Moors and Christians, Ramón Rocamora, and President UNDEF (National Union of Organizations Festeras ), Paco Lopez.
Likewise, the counselor encouraged "all Murcia to visit Abanilla at parties, acts enjoying feeling and emotion-laden and share the festive spirit of the different Kabyle and mesnadas".
He added that "parties of various municipalities in the region represent a special occasion to be surprised by people like Abanilla, offering numerous cultural and scenic attractions to tourists."
