The Governing Council has authorized the signing of agreements between the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment and the municipalities of Alguazas, Lorca, Librilla, Moratalla and Ojós, respectively, in the fight against the shadow economy.
The objective is to promote and establish reciprocal pathways for detection of undeclared activities with defraudatorio mood communication.
This agreement is part of the measures included in the first Regional Plan Against Irregular Economy launched by the regional government to pursue behaviors that violate the rights of workers and negatively affect the competitiveness of enterprises.
One of the priority objectives of the Plan is to strengthen cooperation between administrations to increase efficiency in the fight against the shadow economy.
Thus, enhancing the exchange of information between the parties before any indication of undeclared activity that may occur in the municipalities of the region.
The municipalities of Alguazas, Lorca, Librilla, Moratalla and Ojós thus add to the municipalities that are already working with the regional administration in this area, which are Albudeite, Campos del Río, Villanueva del Segura river Alhama de Murcia, Jumilla, Mazarrón, Cieza, Puerto Lumbreras, Torre Pacheco, Cehegín, Mula, Totana, Los Alcazares and San Javier Santomera.
