The Governing Council has given approval to hire a total of 156 residential places for comprehensive care for dependent persons suffering from mental illness.
The Ministry of Health and Social Policy will invest a total of 4.1 million euros for the recruitment of these residential spaces and Lorca Abanilla centers during the years 2012 and 2013.
In the case of Abanilla, 36 seats will be arranged in the center that directs the Foundation Diagram and the total amount allocated for this service amounted to 1.3 billion euros.
Also, the Department will provide 2.8 million euros for booking and hiring of 120 residential places in the center run by the association Asprodes in the town of Lorca.
In these facilities, people are in situations of dependency social care services and assistance, as well as medical, psychological, nursing, occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
For this, the Centre develops and develop a personalized care program to the user, which ensures appropriate care and support needs of people served in each of the areas of daily life functioning.
