Likewise, the socialist government team, supported by technical and intervention reports, has proposed to the plenary and it has approved that the City Council assumes the direct management of the urban solid waste collection service and its transport, for the savings that it entails and the improvements In the service offered to the fans, ending with the problems of the last months.
In the words of the mayor of Abanilla, Ezequiel Alonso, this ordinary meeting in May "has been one of the most important in recent years, thanks to the lowering of taxes and the return of garbage collection to the direct management of the City Council, Which is going to relieve the pocket of the fans and will solve the problems of recent months.
Specifically, the receipt of the urban tax will decrease this year 2017 by 6% and by 2018 will make an additional 7.3%.
An accumulated linear decrease of approximately 15% with respect to the receipt of the year 2015. In other words, a house that paid in 2015 about 500 euros next year 2018 will pay 425 euros.
The tax rate of urban IBI at the beginning of the Legislature was 0.7 and after this last modification is going to be at 0.58%.
The other tax that falls for the first time in years is that of vehicles.

Socialist spokesman José Antonio Ramírez highlights the government's important effort to take these measures that represent the "most significant downward reduction in recent years."
