The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia and the Local Police of Abanilla have jointly developed the operation 'TÁRSICO', established to pursue drug trafficking, which has resulted in the dismantling of a criminal group dedicated to the illicit cultivation of marijuana and to the Distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
In the two domiciliary records practiced in Abanilla have been seized numerous doses of hashish, marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy, arranged for sale.

The investigation began last October when agents of the Local Police of Abanilla and the Civil Guard perceived a certain increase in the number of arrests of narcotic substances to consumers of the locality, which made presume the existence of an organized group Dedicated to the distribution of drugs.
The investigations focused on a young man, neighbor of the municipality, who was suspected of maintaining control of the sale of narcotic drugs, so he ordered his surveillance.
The investigations carried out by the group of investigators showed that a new series of actors, several young people from the town and two other residents of Orihuela (Alicante) were allegedly working on this first suspect, distributing the toxic substances among consumers of The municipalities of Abanilla and Fortuna.
