The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia and the Local Police of Abanilla have developed an investigation that has resulted in the arrest of a young man as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of crimes of cultivation and drug production, and of fraud of electric fluid.
Inside a country house, about 200 marijuana plants have been seized, as well as the necessary tools for indoor cultivation.
The investigation began when a patrol of the Local Police of Abanilla detected a suspicious light that came from inside an uninhabited country house, located in the hamlet of El Tollé, so they communicated this circumstance to the Civil Guard to establish a device set that allowed to approach the property with the highest security guarantees.
Once secured possible access to housing, the agents surprised an individual when he left, armed with a large knife, from an attached garage.
When he realized that they were agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police, he threw the knife at the ground.
This fact, together with the rest of the evidence detected in the building, led to suspicion that the house could house the cultivation of marijuana plants and that, its resident, alerted by the presence of suspicious people around, left inside to repel an alleged theft of the drug
After inspecting the property, the agents found 197 cannabis sativa plants in the garage and, on the top floor of the building, three rooms equipped with spotlights, air filters, air conditioners and everything needed to carry out a future culture.
The examination of the house allowed to detect an irregular coupling to the electricity supply network.
The investigation, developed jointly by the Local Police of Abanilla and the Civil Guard, has resulted in the disarticulation of a greenhouse of marijuana plants that had been enabled inside a house located in the hamlet of El Tollé, term municipality of Abanilla, as well as with the arrest of a young man, 19 years old, Spanish nationality and neighbor of Ceutí as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of cultivation and drug production, and of fraud of electric fluid.
The arrested, the marijuana plants and the effects seized, as well as the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction number of Cieza.
