Within what was the realization of the VIII MUSIC BAND FESTIVAL Villa de Abanilla, organized by the Musical Union "Santa Cruz" de Abanilla, was held on Saturday April 6, the presentation of the 2019 party poster.
With the record quite advanced, of elevation to National Tourist Interest of our Patron Saint Festivities, this year the author of the poster of parties has fallen to a person known in Abanilla, for his professional dedication as Civil Guard of our Municipality more than 20 years, is Murcia by birth, but his connection with our places have made emotionally many of his works of art are his source of inspiration.
He is David Gil Cano, or as he is known artistically, David Gil Art, co-founder of the "Association of Painters and other Arts of Murcia", which has exhibited his art throughout these years in various locations in Murcia and Alicante, as well as having participated in several group exhibitions with other artists from the Region.
David, is a self-taught artist deeply restless and committed to the constant need to investigate in abstraction as a form of pictorial-artistic expression, elements that led to his proposal to make the poster of this year's festivities 2019. His predisposition to the development of the poster and its art, have done a work in which the author reflects the feeling of the abanilleros for their Feast and Devotion, through a sunset of our municipality, from the point of view of an artist of similar characteristics.
The poster stands out for its color, a reflection of the season of the year in which our Fiestas are celebrated.
Grateful for having him alone, he hopes that the poster for Fiestas 2019 will be liked by all the abanilleros and those who join these parties open to all those who wish to accompany us.
