The Minister of the Presidency, Pedro Rivera, visited today some of the works carried out in Abanilla under the Works and Services Plan amounting to 131,000 euros, of which 117,000 are contributed by the Community and the rest by the City Council.

Rivera stressed that "these are actions designed to alleviate deficits in urban infrastructure in accordance with the needs expressed by the Consistory." Therefore, it is invested in something that is present in the day to day of the inhabitants of Abanilla, and that impacts very directly in their well-being. "

Specifically, they have been equipped with playgrounds and biosaludables separate parks in the town and in the hamlet of Barinas, the Cultural Center of Mahoya has been remodeled and has been equipped with new lighting the Macisvenda nucleus and the sites of The Turkeys, The Slopes and Maique.

The counselor recalled that the new works and services plan, which covers the 2018 and 2019 years, will mean an investment of 250,000 euros for Abanilla, which will be applied to the renovation of public lighting, the adaptation of the environment of the Heart of Jesus, the remodeling of the Cultural Center of Macisvenda or the paving works in Mahoya and Los Baños, "which will undoubtedly contribute to make Abanilla a more attractive and comfortable municipality for residents and visitors".
